Racing bike classic on the Grossglockner High Alpine Road

On 7 June 2026, the Grossglockner High Alpine Road will once again become what it is only once a year: a car-free stage for pure cycling passion. When engines fall silent and the view opens up to the mighty mountains surrounding Austria's highest mountain, the Glocknerkönig begins – one of the most famous and popular mountain bike races in Europe and certainly one of the top cycling events in Austria. It is a day on which sporting challenge, impressive nature and the feeling of community come together in a unique way.
