Monte Baldo is a striking mountain range in the Garda Alps, which stretches for around 40 kilometres between the Adige Valley and Lake Garda. Its highest point is the Cima Valdritta at 2,218 metres. Due to its unique geographical position, Monte Baldo is often referred to as the "Garden of Europe" - alpine, Mediterranean and subalpine vegetation meet here.
