Milano - Sanremo Sprint Final
After 6 kilometres, the Cipressa climb awaits us in San Lorenzo - the penultimate challenge of the Milan-Sanremo cycle race.
As soon as we reach the summit, we enjoy a coffee with a sea view in the main square of Cipressa. A stop at the first hairpin bend is a must to take a photo of the mural dedicated to the "Classicissima".
A very demanding descent takes us to Aregai, where we change to the cycle path to Bussana. Our second climb awaits us there: the final stretch of the Milano-Sanremo, the Poggio.
Then it's downhill to Sanremo, where we sprint to the finish line.
We ride back to the base along the old railway tracks, which have been converted into the cycle path of the Ligurian coastal park.
