This road bike tour leads from Tramin via Kurtatsch directly into the steep ascent to Oberfennberg, where the narrow road winds its way through forests and past small farms at an altitude of over 1,000 metres. After the more challenging sections, the terrain becomes much gentler from Fennhals and leads across an open plateau to Unterfennberg. Lake Fennberg is the perfect place for a relaxing break, whether it's for a look over the dark water or a short picnic. The return journey follows the same route and requires precise braking due to the steep, winding descent, but is great fun. Back down in the valley, you cycle leisurely along quiet side roads to Tramin. The tour is particularly suitable for fresh mornings or clear autumn days and can be extended via Kurtatsch or Entiklar if required.
