Road bike tour to the Strubklamm gorge

From Fuschl am See, the route leads over the Perfalleck with a short ascent towards Faistenau on roads with hardly any traffic. Along the Hintersee lake you reach the beautiful Strubklamm gorge. A steeply sloping gorge and a short tunnel accompany you on the left until you reach the Wiestal valley. Shortly before the Wiestal reservoir, turn right onto a small road to Hinterwinkl. From there, the initially easy climb up the Gaisberg begins with a 14% gradient at the end. The path leads you along colourful flowering alpine meadows to the highest point of the tour. At the top, you are rewarded with a wonderful view of the city of Salzburg. On the way back, you can enjoy the long descent to the main road near Guggenthal. From there, the route is gently undulating on the main road past Hof bei Salzburg back to Fuschl am See.
