Racing bike tour Bertinoro
On the hills of Romagna, a few kilometres above the Via Emilia, between Forlì and Cesena, south of the town of Forlimpopoli, Bertinoro rises on a hilltop like any medieval village. To reach it, we cross the salt pans of Cervia and then Forlimpopoli, where we will begin an easy 3 km climb. On the summit is the fortress, which was probably built around the year 1000. It is interesting to see how Bertinoro has been able to defend itself well over the centuries thanks to its elevated position, making it almost impregnable. Return to the Hotel Lungomare via Cesena, where we can enjoy a coffee in its beautiful square before returning to the hotel.
