Start and finish location
Telve

The Manghen Pass (Passo Manghen) is a hidden gem in the Trentino Alps - narrow, wildly romantic and challenging. The classic road bike tour starts on the north side in Telve. From here, the 18-kilometre climb to the top of the pass at 2,047 metres begins. The gradient is very irregular: initially moderate, then increasingly steeper from kilometre 10 onwards, with longer sections of around 10 %, with individual ramps even steeper. In total, there are around 1,370 metres of ascent, embedded in an almost untouched mountain landscape.

The road is narrow and winds its way through dense forests, past waterfalls, rock faces and alpine meadows - often without any crash barriers. At the top of the pass, the view of the Lagorai massif opens up, accompanied by the sound of the mountain streams. The Manghen Pass is rarely travelled, making it ideal for anyone looking for alpine solitude, nature and a sporting challenge. A real insider tip - away from the classic Dolomite passes, but at least as impressive.
