The "Race Across The Alps" with start and finish in Nauders is recognized as the toughest one-day race in the world. Real heroes are born in the cycle race through the three countries of Italy, Switzerland and Austria.
The Race Across the Alps is now the official qualifying race for the Race Across America (RAAM). Those cyclists who cross the finish line in Nauders within the waiting period of 32 hours are considered qualified. A separate registration or other formalities are then no longer necessary.
