I live in the world-famous Dolomites and received my first bike at the age of 6. What else would I do apart from biking? Since the age of 18 I’ve been part of the fire brigade sport group in the Trentino region and have completed the 800 km Camino de Santiago in Spain.
My favourite tour is the Passo del Manghen tour. With its length and cumulative elevation gain, the demanding tour is a challenge even for the best bikers. But all your efforts are more than rewarded on the beautiful descent.
Biking is my passion and my escape from the daily routine. I enjoy going on tours with my guests or waiting after dinner at the bikers’ table to give you some interesting insider tips! Diese Strecke ist mehr als nur eine "Radtour", sie kann als "Bergetappe" bezeichnet werden, die dem Giro d'Italia würdig ist, und tatsächlich war sie schon mehrmals Teil der Corsa Rosa.
Der Start ist eine flache Aufwärmphase auf dem Valsugana-Radweg, der am Caldonazzosee vorbeiführt; der Anstieg beginnt in Pergine auf die Pinè Hochebene, vorbei am Dorf Brusago führt die Strecke auf einer falschen Ebene weiter, bis sie das Fleimstal und insbesondere die Gemeinde Castello-Molina di Fiemme erreicht. Hier beginnt der intensivste Teil der Tour und einer der bekanntesten, berühmtesten und gefürchtetsten Anstiege des Trentino: der Manghenpass. Die durchschnittliche Steigung beträgt mehr als 7%, aber auf der 16 km langen Strecke gibt es auch Stellen mit 15%. Der höchste Punkt liegt auf einer Höhe von 2032 m und entspricht der Passo Manghen-Hütte. Nun bleibt nur noch der Abstieg in die Talsohle des Valsugana und schließlich der flache Rückweg durch das Tal auf dem Radweg von Borgo nach Levico.
