Roadbike tours in the region

What the roadbike expert says:

In the trail of King Ludwig… You can start off in any direction of the compass from Tyrolean Hochtal, and after just a few kilometres you will find yourself on the tracks of King Ludwig in Bavaria.
You get a fantastic panoramic view into the Allgäu area and the Tyrolean mountains from the Falkenstein castle ruins in Pfronten. Then, the route goes past lakes and the historic town of Füssen, right past the fairytale castle, Neuschwanstein, and, right after that, the Hohenschwangau castle, surrounded by the Alpsee and Schwansee lakes. After such a lot of cultural pleasure, it’s then an easy ride over the Gaichtpass back home.
The Tannheimer Tal region offers lots for racing bikers. There is a huge network of tours of varying difficulties, from freewheeling ones in undulating landscape, to high mountain terrain; a royal cycling pleasure.
