Bike season

March - October

Perfect weather from March until October invites to explore the region around Lake Como by racing cycle.

Racing Cycle Holidays at Lake Como
Lake Como is booming. The impressive quality of hotels and service is just as attractive as the sophisticated villas, picturesque villages, perfect parks and mountains stretching as far as the lake shore. The ideal area for racing cyclists who like varied tours just as much as relaxation.

Racing Cycling at Lake Como
Interesting, historic racing cycle routes can be found in the vicinity of Bellagio. A must for every racing cyclist is the Madonna del Ghisallo. This ascent has been made famous by the Giro di Lombardia and the Giro d'Italia and finishes with a summit where you can visit the Cycling Museum afterwards. The Triangolo di Lanario route to the peak of the Sormone Mountain is one of the most beautiful ascents. A fantastic view to Lake Como and the surrounding mountains can be enjoyed after 13 kilometres and an elevation of more than 10% in parts of the route. You will be following the tracks of Tony Rominger, who in 1992 won the Giro di Lombardia for the second time, when racing cycling along the lake shores in picturesque Varenna. The 17 kilometres long ascent ends with a stunning view to the Passo Agueglio.

I look forward to show you the beauty of our region during racing cycle tours. Pros train on most of the routes which we will discover together. If we are lucky we may see one or the other pro during their training.
